The Halo is a ground breaking hybrid fractional laser that combines different wavelengths to repair the visible signs of aging, sun damage, discoloration, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. The Halo uses a laser that targets the top layer of your skin and one that targets the bottom layer to achieve optimal results. Halo is intended to rejuvenate the skin with minimal downtime but maximal results.

Dr. Ramirez Gavidia is an expert in laser technology and travels around the country to teach other providers how to obtain maximal benefits with each Halo treamtment. RG Plastic Surgery and Rejuvenation Spa proudly offers the Halo™ from Sciton®, a customizable dual wavelength cosmetic laser that will get your skin looking healthier and younger.

If you’ve been looking for a way to improve your skin and enhance your own beauty by removing stubborn marks and lines from your face without having to resort to surgery, contact us at our office and find out if the Halo™ could be the end to your search.

Why do you need Halo™?

Your skin’s ability to exfoliate and renew itself becomes weaker as you age, which can cause spots, creases and wrinkles to appear on the skin.  In more serious cases, the diminished ability of skin to restore itself can cause long lasting deep facial wrinkles that cannot be addressed through superficial options like creams and serums.

What is the Halo™?

The Halo™ is an adjustable, fractional laser capable of performing ablative and non-ablative treatments simultaneously.  The non-ablative wavelength is best at addressing issues like enlarged pores and off-color pigmentation, while the ablative wavelength, it is best used for healing facial scars and texture irregularities.

Following the procedure, the treated skin may be sensitive and tender, but you should be able to carry on with your regular activities the day afterwards. In order for the treatment to work properly, it is advised that you avoid exposure to the sun during the day and keep your skin protected with a high SPF in the following weeks post procedure..

What makes the Halo™ Unique?

The Halo™ is capable of a non-ablative and ablative procedure at once, allowing it to treat a larger variety of conditions than a cosmetic laser designed specifically for one or the other. It is two lasers in one!

The conditions Halo excels at treating include but are not limited to:

  • Large Pores
  • Age Spots and Sun Spots
  • Wrinkles
  • Fine Lines
  • Acne Scars
  • Pigmentation Issues
  • Loss of Soft Tissue

The handpiece used to perform the Halo™ laser treatment also comes with a host of features that can enhance the procedure’s comfort.  One of these features is an integrated cooling system that is designed to help a patient easily tolerate the procedure.

Is the Halo™ a Safe Option for Me?

The customizable nature and state-of-the-art technology of Halo makes it a very safe laser. Halo can be programmed for a variety of skin conditions and colors for a personalized experience. However, some patients are better candidates than others and treatment goals can vary. A scheduled consultation with one of our practitioners will better answer this question. This consultation will involve diagnostic photographs, discussion of your medical history, goals, and expectations for the treatment.  Your practitioner will lay out a plan and options that would be right for you and your aesthetic desires.
