Imagine a sculptor chiseling marble into a masterpiece. This is how Dr. Ramirez Gavidia reshapes the body using your own fat — with liposuction and VASER® technology — to re-sculpt a whole new physique.
VASER liposuction is done with the patient under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
Before your procedure begins, you’ll be marked for muscle area definition, as well as the spaces between the muscles. This helps guide Dr. Ramirez Gavidia on where he will be removing and repositioning the fat.
Dr. Ramirez Gavidia will create a very small incision.
A saline solution or tumescent fluid combined with an anesthetic will be administered via injection, and then a specially designed VASER probe is applied to the targeted area before the actual liposuction begins.
The probe delivers ultrasonic energy that liquefies the fat cells before suctioning the fat from the body.
The soft fat cells are liquified the instant the probe touches them, which makes the fat easier to remove. Once the fat cells have been appropriately liquified, a cannula (a small, thin tube) will be inserted in the same area to gently suction the fat out in a controlled manner. This fat will be collected and purified so that Dr. Ramirez Gavidia can utilize it as a natural sculpting medium with ultrasound guidance.
